The Logo Design Elements for Beginners
by
Graphic design as a whole is vast terminology with logo design being one of the most important sub-branch of this parent domain. Logo design is a fun art form with 97% of the world businesses being associated with it. There are a few main elements that the new logo designers must adhere to for making it big in this field. They must study the design samples of the experts and memorize their creative intricacies so they could inculcate the same in their design work too.
- The line element
The impactful usage of line element can elevate your final art work to another level. This design element may seem very meager and trivial but it makes a huge difference to the finesse when done in a correct way. Logo design samples or prototypes always contain blueprints in which the line element is emphasized above all other elements. The line element comes in differential shapes and sizes such as thick, thin, molded, zigzag etc.
- The Color Element
The second most important element of logo designing that the beginners must focus on is the color element. This design element must go hand in hand with the actual brand pattern of colors so that the logo would only propel the brand’s image upwards. The color element along with other elements of brand fuse together to come up with the final product. The logo designer can utilize patterns as an independent component in a foundation or it tends to be connected alongside alternate components in the brand.
- The Shape Element
A designer must prototype the logo in different shapes which should go with the face of the brand and its positioning in the market. There are several type of basis shape elements which can be used from a basic triangle to rectangle to hexagon and the final logo design is the fusion of some variations of the shapes together. The Toyota logo can be termed as using the shape element immaculately in their Brand.
- The Typographic element
Another basic element which should be taken note of by the beginners is the typographic one. Use of a certain font can either make or break the logo. Typography combined with the shape element gives a meaning to the Brand for example the Honda Logo.
