With the advent of logo designing it became clear for everyone that a logo is essential before making your brand of offering public just so that people start recognizing it by the logo. Alongside that, there were companies initially which thought of adding a tagline with their logo just to make it clearer, more understandable, more vibrant and easier to decipher. Many big companies took over this approach and start adding taglines with their logo which eventually became a part of their logo as well. There are some big examples of how companies related their corporate logos with the taglines.
- Nike – Just do it
The brand which started off initially as just a brand which makes Joggers or the sports shoes has now gotten into complete sports wardrobe making company. The swoosh of Nike is the very famous and popular logo world over, but what the company did is it that it attached a tagline with it, which was “just do it” so the tagline become synonymous with the logo of the Nike and now they both go in hand in hand together.
- Adidas – Impossible is nothing
Another very famous tagline with goes with the logo of a company which making sports shoes and apparel for the athletes and people at large. This tagline impossible is nothing stems out from the outlook of a sportsman, since the person who is into sports would be needing motivation constantly to compete.
- Gucci – L’aveugle par amour
The tagline of the famous company Gucci means “blind for love”. That tagline translates into the actual outlook of the brand which is more towards high end fashion, which can be associated with the tagline they have put up.
- Honda – The power of dreams
Honda’s tagline goes with the engines they produce and as well as their logo, which is made upon sleek aerodynamic cutting used in their cars as well.
